MEET THE NEXT-GEN FOUNDATION
Over the years residential construction has evolved. Conart Construction has been able to adapt and excel due to the ability to stay current as the industry changes, this includes staying up to date with the latest H1 building code changes, tools, products and techniques. Thus introducing QuickSet, a fully insulated, internally braced, permanent formwork system!
The permanent formwork, which remains in place after concrete has been poured, is composed of dense PVC sheet which is laminated with extruded polystyrene to add further insulation. Designed to be used with *Allied Concrete and Qpod pod system (QuickSet’s first and recommended choice of pod system, however is designed and compatible with all pod systems), compatible with 85mm, 100mm, and 120mm slab topping heights and is pre-finished in grey with a protective wrap to be removed before building is finished.
Made in New Zealand, with plastic components made from 100% NZ recycled plastics.
QuickSet creates a modern, sustainable, environmentally friendly foundation, and is the key to healthy home!
Qpod, NZ’s earth friendly, 100% recycled and recyclable pod system made in the sunny Hawke’s Bay is the perfect match
for the QuickSet system. (and is QuickSet preferred!) Lightweight, super stable and
makes for a clean work site (no styrene fly aways or poly beads) The fast and eco friendly option to replace polystyrene
and the only system featuring the unique patented built in 40mm bar chair for accurate mesh placement.
*(if Allied Concrete isn’t available, then any concrete may be substituted as long as it matches the plans and specifications)
